JrMath Resources Subscription
 
is a creative collection of over 370 (and growing) printable and multi-media materials to be used with students from Grade 6 to Grade 9 studying junior high (intermediate) math including pre-algebra.  These materials are also appropriate for the first year of a two year high school algebra program.
These resources are designed to be used by teachers and parents to energize students' mathematical experiences.

     With over 60 years of combined teaching experience (to date), we offer to you all of our creative, engaging, and exciting materials which have been, and continue to be, successful in the mathematics classroom.  We have also included materials we have shared with other educators at teacher conferences and workshops along with some of our personal teaching strategies and suggestions.
     We chose this subscription format because it allows us to continually add and update materials. In addition, the subscription format brings you the largest number of materials in the most cost effective way.

"Ah-Bach" Working with Fractions
  An "Ah-Bach" style worksheet/puzzle dealing with adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing numerical fractions. Students match problems with answers to decode a "Did you know ..." message.
Powers of the Cinema (Word Search with Clues)
 
Students answer clues regarding the topic of exponents and find their answers in a word search puzzle. An on-line interactive version is also available at http://jrmathbits.com/mathbits/crosswords/PowerCinema.html
Pair Share with a Twist - Add/Subtract Polynomials
  Pairs of students answer questions regarding the adding and subtracting of polynomials. When finished, each student's answers will be the same, but not in the same order.
Searching for Slopes with Matching Answer Activity
  Worksheet with accompanying on-line activity for checking answers.  Can be done with, or without, the on-line activity.
Video Game World - Statistics Activity
   Worksheet and Data Sheet for examining mean, mode, median, range, maximum, minimum, quartiles, box & whisker plots and data symmetry.
Stair Master
   Students do investigations which lead to discussions regarding the divisibility of numbers, multiples, factors, and primes.
